There is a risk of hypoglycaemia as the muscles use up the glucose from the blood
Exercise can have a variety of effects on blood glucose levels, depending on the type, intensity and duration of activity. The higher the intensity and the longer the duration of the exercise, the greater the impact it will have on your blood glucose level.
